I created two alternative packaging designs for the Eveready brand of batteries. In place of the current standard for battery packaging with the batteries contained in a plastic window, the rebrands make use of a distinctive, less wasteful, and more comfortable all-cardboard con­struction. In both designs, I strove to make Eveready more attractive, eye-catching, and pleasant to have in one’s home. Both designs take inspiration from Eveready’s surprisingly long and illustrious history.
